Agnus castus is a bush with violet flowers and characteristic leaves. Natural habitat of this plant is the Southern Europe and Mediterranean, but today this plant is grown throughout the world.
It has aromatic seeds, commonly used as a pepper substitute.
Medicinal purpose:
Parasites in the intestines, regulates menstrual period, increases lactation. Agnus Castus balances estrogen and progesterone levels in body and is therefore used in healing hormonal imbalances.
